At Richardson’s of Woodthorpe, I know that Charles Ashbridge of Thirsk in North Yorkshire employs the traditional methods in farming as I do in butchery in my York based butchery business.

I use only Rose Veal.

Rose Veal is a young bull that is kept with its mother and milk fed.

This creates less stress upon the animal and the resulting Rose Veal can be purchased in the form of steaks or joints of meat.
